Process Worker
Skillhire are seeking experienced Process Workers to join the team at our client’s poultry processing facility located in Osborne Park.
As a Process Worker (Level 5), you will be responsible for the efficient operation of the facility's processing line. You will be required to manually de-bone poultry and use hand operated tools to AS/NZS.
Other Responsibilities include:
- Quality Assurance by measuring and recording poultry to specific standards.
- Grade poultry immediately after exiting the water and/or air chiller to determine quality standards
- Sort and select poultry to meet company standards and place them on shackles for distribution within the packing plant
- Correctly operate and care for all machinery and handling equipment
- Ensuring the environment is to a clean standard at all times
- Understanding of quality standards of company
To be considered, you must have the following:
- Experience working in the Food Processing industry
- Ability to manually de-bone poultry
- Skilled use of a hand-operated tools
- Reliable transport and ability to travel to Osborne Park
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
- Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Test
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Fitness for physical work
