What are my responsibilities?
- The delivery of the HSE system as the Consortium Joint Venture.
- Implementing and monitoring the EHS E&S MS.
- Supporting the SMO & Consortium EHS Manager prepared to take over duties as required.
- Following the Project EHS strategy and setting priorities for the EHS coverage on assigned line sections.
- Supporting and coordinating the EHS Coverage for the SMO TK scope as well as coordinating the supervision of the installation performed by CJV for SMO.
- Coordinating the HSE requirements with the consortium and the contractors.
- Consulting with the EHS Manager, PM and Consortium partners on site specific related EHS and concerns.
- Managing the Consortium EHS team under his assigned areas for implementation of the EHS system for the project.
- Implementing, monitoring and reviewing the implementation of the EHS system.
- Liaising with consultants as required regarding the EHS topics from lenders.
- Carrying out the EHS IFC requirements as required.
- Managing and overseeing the Line Project Team as required.
- Mentoring all Project EHS and CJV personnel.
- Developing and enhancing current EHS personnel skills as part of a supersession foundation.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- At least 15 Years Experience in a Senior Health and Safety Position
- 7 years of experience in same position in a multinational Environment
- Postgraduate Diploma / Level 6 (UK) Equivalent (Masters – Occupational Health & Safety Management )
- Graduate Diploma in Leadership and Management
- Advanced Diploma in Wastewater Treatment and Recycling
- Diploma in ISO Standards - Integrated Management System (IMS)
- ISO 14001:2015 - Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
